Farmers State Bank of Marcus, IA was started in December of 1928 to serve the people of Marcus and the surrounding farming community. After one year the Farmers State Bank had grown to over $4 Million in total assets.
Our staff, loan officers, executive management and directors are all members of our community. We are actively involved in many local volunteer organizations and area churches.
Our loan officers and management have decades of banking experience. We strive to meet all of your financial needs, while maintaining our home town hospitality. We know community banking and we look forward to helping you.
We have been and are still “a real community bank.” We are locally owned and our purpose is still to service the people of Marcus, our neighbors, and the farming community for all their financial needs.
