Farmers State Bank of Marcus was started in
December of 1928 to serve the people of Marcus
and the surrounding farming community. After
one year the Farmers State Bank had grown to
over $4 Million in total assets and in 2004
the Bank has grown to over $50 Million in total
assets.
We have been and are still “a real community
bank.” We are locally owned and our purpose
is still to service the people of Marcus and
the farm community for all their financial
needs.
Our staff, loan officers, executive management
and directors are all members of our community.
We serve on many local boards such as the
Marcus Fair Board, The Marcus, Meriden, Cleghorn
school board, various local church boards and
well as local civic groups.
Our loan officers and management have over
110+ years of banking experience and our tellers
and bookkeepers have been with us for an average
of 18 years. We know community banking and
we very much would like to serve all your banking
needs.
